I’m pleased to announce that I’m one of the judges on this years Mammal Society photography competition.

This fantastic UK based charity established in 1954 is devoted to the study and conservation of the mammals of the British Isles.

Their aim is to raise awareness of the issues mammals face and share scientific research so they can be best protected in the future.  This year they celebrate their 70th year of helping our mammals, which is just incredible.

They have a really strong ethical stance in their competition which I’m so glad of and something that I’m extremely passionate about. Nature first, photo second, read more on my website.

Mammals are in trouble in the UK, from the Badgers, Foxes, Water voles the list is endless. I’m hoping this competition highlights their plights more and we all learn to love these incredible creatures that share our cities and green spaces with us.
