I did an interview not so long ago with Olly Mann for the Modern Mann series of podcasts. It was to help and inspire people from all backgrounds to embrace nature into their lives and to never give up.
“My guest on this week’s Modern Mann is ex soldier Craig Jones. He escaped a brutal father and found solace in the natural world. Now a distinguished wildlife photographer and conservationist, the aftermath of his traumatic childhood and military training informs his approach. In a candid interview with me, he explains how his kinship with wild creatures has helped him survive, thrive and start afresh.”

I first met Olly Mann the year before, when I was one of the invited panel of experts for a filmed debate he was the compare on for National Geographic, and specifically their channel Nat Geo Wild and partners The Week magazine.
This thought-provoking and inspiring panel discussion focused on the some of the themes that were to be shown on two programmes – Paradise Islands and Photo Ark, both streaming on National Geographic. The whole event and film can be seen on this link.
Olly presents podcasts The Week Unwrapped and The Media Podcast. He has also anchored hundreds of hours of live radio for commercial radio stations including LBC. His comedy podcast Answer Me This!, remains one of Britain’s most popular independent podcasts.
Thank you Olly Mann for your time and putting together this interview, I hope it inspires many people from all walks of life and to embrace nature into their lives, many thanks.
