Each time you enter nature you always learn something new, whether it be about the subjects behaviour or fieldcraft technic. You must always put the subjects welfare before any images you take. Remembering you are a guest in their world.

On the whole the figures from the Barn Owl Trusts State of the UK Barn Owl Population 2023 report show that it was another good year for breeding Barn Owls across the UK.

Its always a pleasure to help this wonderful charity with my images as I have been doing for many years.
RSPB Snettisham celebrated its fiftieth birthday this month. This amazing place in Norfolk is one of the UK’s most important sites for wildfowl and waders.


In glorious weather the Global Birdfair brought together wildlife conservationists, representatives of nature, travel, birders and natural history enthusiasts from all over the world.


Wildlife photography’s power rests on the belief that it represents an event that occurred naturally in the wild, something witnessed and recorded by the photographer with their camera at that given time.


A chance encounter with nature is always amazing, seeing another living being right there with you is beyond words. Whether you take photos or your just out for a walk that moment when you come across another life is priceless.
