Snettisham at Fifty
RSPB Snettisham celebrated its fiftieth birthday this month. This amazing place in Norfolk is one of the UK’s most important sites for wildfowl and waders.
The RSPB have had this site for 50 years and they recently celebrating this with an event there that coincided with a spring tide.
It’s a special place, one I’ve traveled to since I was a young teenager. Each time witnessing something truly unique. Lets hope this spectacular place is still here in another fifty years.
This blog post shows you some of the incredible spring tide encounters I’ve had there over the years.
If you’d like to photograph this incredible event I have a few dates free over the next couples of months. You will witness a spring tide, then in the afternoon we head to one of the wild Barn Owl spots I have there.
To see the dates and all the information on these days I run in Norfolk see this link, many thanks.
