Using my camera I try and show not only the beauty of the natural world but also the suffering within that world. My hope is to give all those species a true and meaningful voice around the world with my photographs.

On the whole the figures from the Barn Owl Trusts State of the UK Barn Owl Population 2023 report show that it was another good year for breeding Barn Owls across the UK.

Barn Owls have fascinated me from childhood, waiting, hidden away as one appeared from nowhere. Their beautiful round face and piercing black eyes staring back at you.
Water voles are in trouble, they are our fastest declining mammal. In the 1980’s and 90’s they suffered a catastrophic 90% drop in their population, largely due to the spread of American mink, which were introduced into our countryside through illegal releases or escapes from fur farms.
